Die sechs Schichten und die LEITBAHNEN-Palpation
In diesem Workshop wird Dan Keown ein neues Verständnis der in der chinesischen Medizin bekannten «SECHS SCHICHTEN» vermitteln. Er schafft dabei eine faszinierende Verbindung zwischen der Embryologie und den Akkupunktur-KANÄLEN/LEITBAHNEN. Die Faszien dienen dabei als wichtige Struktur und bilden Räume im Körper, die den Fluss des Qi ermöglichen und lenken.
Dabei gelingt es ihm, auf sehr lebendige und oft humorvolle Art, östliche Konzepte mit westlichen Begriffen zu erklären und unsere westliche Denkweise durch das Verständnis der chinesischen Medizin zu erweitern.
Am Sonntag werden wir dann die Theorie zum Leben erwecken und mit Hilfe von Dans Anleitungen und vielen Fallbespielen selbst erste praktische Übungen machen zur Leitbahnenpalpation.
Das vermittelte Wissen ist seht praxisnah und die TeilnehmerInnen werden einiges mitnehmen können, das sie direkt mit KlientInnen werden umsetzen können.
Seminarsprache ist Englisch.
Als Vorbereitung kann es hilfreich sein, das Bestseller.Buch von Dan Keown , «Der Funke im System», vor dem Seminar zu lesen.
Dies bildet allerdings keine Vorbedingung zum Besuch des Workshops.
Dan Keown
Dr. Keown erhielt 1998 einen Abschluss in Medizin von der Manchester University und arbeitet seitdem kontinuierlich als registrierter Arzt. Er arbeitet mit Akupunktur in seiner Praxis südlich von London, wo er gerade sein Projekt eines Akupunktur-Spitals verwirklicht.
Im Jahr 2008 schloss er einen Abschluss in Chinesischer Medizin und Akupunktur am College of Integrated Medicine der Kingston University ab und ist seitdem Mitglied des British Acupuncture Council. 2010 studierte er neben dem renommierten Dr. Wang Ju-Yi am Institut für Kanaldiagnostik in Beiing. Derzeit verwendet Dr. Keown eine Form der Akupunktur, die stark auf der Arbeit von Dr. Wang Ju-Yi basiert. Er hat festgestellt, dass dies die konsequenteste Form der Akupunktur ist und hat seine medizinischen Kollegen oft mit den Ergebnissen verblüfft, die dies geben kann.

The six divisions and CHANNEL -Palpation
In this workshop, Dan Keown will provide a new understanding of the „SIX LAYERS“ known in Chinese medicine. He creates a fascinating connection between embryology and the acupuncture CHANNELS/PATHWAYS. The fascia serve as an important structure and form spaces in the body that enable and direct the flow of Qi.
In doing so, he succeeds, in a very lively and often humorous way, in explaining Eastern concepts with Western terms and expanding our Western way of thinking through the understanding of Chinese medicine, … or as it says in the subtitle of his book:
„How the Science of Acupuncture Explains the Secrets of Western Medicine“
On Sunday we will bring the theory to life and, with the help of Dan’s instructions and many case examples, do our first practical exercises on pathway palpation.
The imparted knowledge is very practical and the participants will be able to take a lot with them, which they will be able to implement directly with clients.

As preparation, it can be helpful to read the bestselling book by Dan Keown, „The Spark in the Machine“, before the seminar. However, this is not a prerequisite for attending the workshop.
Dan Keown
Dr. Keown received a degree in medicine from Manchester University in 1998 and has worked continuously as a registered doctor since. He currently works with Acupuncture in his practice in the south of London, where he his realizing his project of an acupuncture-hospital.
In 2008 he completed a degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Medicine affiliated with Kingston University, and has been a member of the British Acupuncture Council since. In 2010 he studied alongside the renowned Dr. Wang Ju-Yi at the Institute of Channel Diagnosis in Beiing. Currently Dr. Keown uses a form of acupuncture that is based heavily on the work of Dr. Wang Ju-Yi. He has found this to be the most consistent form of acupuncture and has often amazed his medical colleagues with the results this can give.
